Product Description

SAMYR (Heptral) is an original product based on ademetionine, a natural compound present in all tissues and body fluids. It has pronounced hepatoprotective, detoxifying, and antidepressant effects.
Ademetionine is involved in key metabolic processes, transmethylation reactions, and the synthesis of essential antioxidants (glutathione, cysteine, taurine), helping to protect and restore liver cells.

Pharmacological Action

• Protects and restores liver cells;
• Improves biochemical parameters of liver function;
• Reduces bile acid toxicity;
• Promotes the normalization of metabolic processes;
• has an antidepressant effect;
• increases serotonin and dopamine levels;
• participates in the production of ATP, the main source of cellular energy.

Indications for use

• intrahepatic cholestasis;
• cirrhotic and precirrhotic conditions;
• toxic liver damage (alcoholic, drug-induced, viral);
• chronic hepatitis;
• hepatic encephalopathy;
• depressive syndromes (including secondary);
• withdrawal syndrome.

Composition

1 vial of lyophilisate contains:
  • ademetionine (S-adenosyl-L-methionine) — 400 mg

Solvent:
  • water for injection,
  • L-lysine,
  • sodium hydroxide.

Directions for use

Administer intramuscularly or intravenously.
